About the company

Established in 1991, Moto-Pfohe is the official dealer of Ford, Volvo, Jaguar, and Land Rover in Bulgaria. It has 17 dealerships across the country and over 400 employees. Their business portfolio includes sales and service of new and used cars, short and long-term rentals, full service, insurance, spare parts, accessories, financing of car deals. Within the Moto-Pfohe group, there are also the insurance broker Pfohe Agency Ltd. and Moto-Pfohe Leasing Ltd. The company is part of the Japanese global company SUMITOMO CORPORATION.

The situation

Prior to 2018, Moto-Pfohe used several software programs for their business operations. As a result of the lack of integration between these programs, they didn`t have the comprehensive business performance overview they needed to best run their business activities. Whenever they needed more information to make a decision, someone had to specifically gather the necessary data in real-time. The same process was used for reporting. Data had to be imported and exported between programs all the time, which was a lengthy and difficult process. At the same time, their customer base – and thus all their business operations and document flow – increased significantly, which further aggravated the situation.

The solution

After evaluating different software solutions, Moto-Pfohe selected the all-in-one automotive software solution DealerBox and implemented its modules for:

With its master data functionality and automated intercompany transactions, DealerBox helps them oversee the whole business portfolio, managing brands, locations, or companies. The implementation team integrated OEM data and processes with the DMS solution for Ford, Land Rover, Jaguar, and Volvo, encompassing operations connected to spare parts, vehicles, repair shops, and accounting. In addition to this, integrations with B2B portals for vehicles and spare parts were also made.

The team implemented Moto-Pfohe’s many specific processes, therefore allowing the company to transfer their know-how onto their new dealership management system.
