The new nopCommerce 4.20 now supports Linux

After almost a year of work, the nopCommerce 4.20 version is finally here! The open source e-commerce solution can now support Linux, and besides being a lot faster, it’s also much more user-friendly than before.

Performance improvements

Something some of the more impatient among us may appreciate: with the new performance improvements, nopCommerce is both faster and more stable. These significant changes are due to upgrading to ASP.NET Core 2.2 and EF Core 2.2; HTML, CSS and JavaScript bundling and minification capabilities and more. You’ll now be able to operate with large catalogs comprised of hundreds of items in a fraction of a second. Furthermore, the interface of the solution’s admin area has also been improved – tabs were replaced by folding panels and product detail pages. Users will also be able to install and uninstall multiple plugins faster. Other improvements include the platform being a safer and more secure system.

Integrated with Microsoft Dynamics
