Submit effortlessly sales documents to ANAF in compliance with Romanian tax legislation
In 2021, Romania introduced legislation governing electronic invoicing based on European models. From July 2022, B2B and B2G invoicing is required by law. If your company deals with high fiscal risk products, such as fruits and vegetables, alcoholic beverages, building materials, mineral products, clothing and footwear, you are impacted by the legislation. At the beginning of 2023, the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) will require all businesses to use the RO e-invoice Platform for all B2B and B2G transactions.
The issuer will be required to generate invoices in .xml format, authenticate identity in the system using qualifying digital certificates, and send such invoices to the RO e-invoice Platform. When obtaining the final legal version of the invoices, the ANAF platform clears and electronically signs those invoices.
E-Invoice for Romania is an extension to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, designed to facilitate compliance with Romanian accounting and tax regulations. When a sales operation is registered in Dynamics 365 Business Central, the application automates the process of submitting invoices to ANAF through the RO E-invoice extension.
Additionally, the tool updates the submission status following the response from the ANAF system. The Refresh and Access tokens automatically update when speaking with authorities. Moreover, the application is available with complete translation in Romanian.
The application will be modified if further changes to tax law occur.
The application successfully passed the Microsoft certification process and is available in AppSource.
