Spasov & Co. Ltd was established in 1996 in Varna – the same year when the first store from the Mania chain was opened. The company has grown significantly over the years and today it is one of leading second hand clothing chains in Eastern Europe. Mania offers a wide variety of goods and operates a network of over 30 stores. Spasov & Co. Ltd. has one main and several regional warehouses, as well as a modern car fleet providing daily delivery services to the whole store chain within the country.
The executive team relied on many different and non-integrated software systems in order to manage all the stores and internal activities. As the company rapidly expanded and the complexity, scope, and specifics of its business processes increased, the management faced many difficulties and bottlenecks due to the limited capabilities of the information systems in charge.
After a long period of research for proper business software on the market, the final selection was brought down to three established ERP systems provided by global leaders. The final choice fell to Microsoft Dynamics NAV in combination with the special retail application LS Retail. The company selected to carry out the project was Intelligent Systems Bulgaria – the leading Microsoft Dynamics and LS Retail partner in Bulgaria.
After the implementation finished, the central warehouse along with all MANIA stores started to use the system simultaneously. The implemented Microsoft Dynamics and LS Retail functionalities unify, manage, and control all processes in different structural departments in the company, and the incorporated database provides fast and secure access to information at any time. The integrated system provides a number of flexible opportunities for smooth management of both back and front office activities in the stores, issue of POS terminal fiscal receipt, print of various documents and forms, offline mode work and many others.
To meet all of the needs of Spasov & Co. Ltd., the team of Intelligent Systems developed special LS Retail modules which aim to better track the movement of items between the different cycles of sale, as well as to improve customer satisfaction rates by introducing a loyal customer scheme with “Mania Bonus Card.”
Several months after all stores started to use Microsoft Dynamics NAV and LS Retail, the management felt a number of improvements in the MANIA TEAM business activities – raised efficiency of the business processes, raised employee productivity and heightened customer satisfaction rates. Provided is optimum organization and management of logistics and cargo transportation, price formation and marketing activities and campaigns. Detailed reports and analyses on key performance indicators (KPIs) give the managers a solid base for taking rational decisions on time.
