Maya Petrova, Sales Administrator

Who is Maya in her personal life and professional life?

– I am married and have 2 children. I like to travel with my family, visit new places and explore new cultures. I feel happy when going out with friends and planning Pilates exercises from time to time. Regarding my job, my role as sales administrator in Intelligent systems includes managing our clients’ licenses. So, it is very important to be up to date with the latest Microsoft licensing policies and trends. Part of my job is also drafting proposals for new implementations and licensing.

What made you choose Intelligent Systems, and how has the company supported your growth during this first year?

– The IT sector is very appealing to me as one of the fast-developing ones, and I felt motivated by the fact that Intelligent Systems is a long-standing partner of Microsoft. Our company gives a lot of opportunities for carrier development, even if you decide to develop more skills in the IT field and get a new job role. Also, the office location is perfect as it is close to business centers, merchandise and metro station.
During the onboarding period my colleagues from the Pre-sales team and especially my direct manager was very supportive when explaining and providing guidance about ERP specifics.

What is the biggest challenge in the job of Pre-sales assistant?

– A substantial part of the assistant’s pre-sales job is the process of qualifying leads, which can be very challenging. We receive company enquiries from different industries worldwide and all of them have their own requirements and expectations. My job is to qualify them and decide whether they are a good fit for us or not. Then the Pre-Sales team is consulting the customers for the solution that will best cover their software needs.

What are the 5 things that you like most in your job?

– My team, the option to work remotely, everyday challenges of my job and the positive attitude of everyone in the office. Last but not least, the walking distance from home to the office.

What are your tips for work-life balance?

– It is always hard to achieve that balance but with good planning and time optimization it is mission possible.

What is Intelligent Systems to you? Describe it in two words?

– Opportunity and friends.
